Konami to Announce UEFA Euro 2016 License

Konami are set to announce that they have acquired the official UEFA Euro 2016 license at Gamescom, it has emerged this evening on Twitter.

PES 2016 to Feature UEFA Euro 2016

Konami will shortly officially confirm the acquisition of the UEFA Euro 2016 license for Pro Evolution Soccer 2016, according to Sebas Fernandez, a reliable games journalist.

With Gamescom starting tomorrow, and more news advertised by Adam Bhatti for the event, it seems like the perfect place to reveal the news.

Although Euro 2016 will not feature in PES 2016 at the beginning, it is expected to be added in the form of a additional data pack at a later point. UEFA Euro 2012 was added with a chargeable DLC to FIFA 12 by EA Sports, after previous tournaments like 2004 and 2008 received dedicated games made by the Canadian brand.
